Big Brother - Alexandra And Mario Face Big Brother Eviction
Alexandra De-Gale and Mario Marconi are to face the public vote on Friday after being nominated for eviction by their Big Brother housemates.
Alexandra, a 23-year-old accounts executive from Croydon, south London, was nominated by nine of her fellow contestants while Marconi, 43, received seven nominations.
The former's nomination is unsurprising, after sparks flew between her and the other contestants on the ninth series of the reality show.
Channel 4 received hundreds of complaints regarding her behaviour during an argument over food in which she screamed at Rebecca Shiner for undercooking chips before rounding on Stephanie McMichael and Rachel Rice when they intervened.
Alexandra has been warned by Big Brother that her actions could have serious consequences but after she argued with Mohamed Mohamed when the latter's diary room comments were broadcast to the entire house, it looks as if her stay in the Big Brother house will end on Friday.
Mario, meanwhile, has already faced eviction, after he failed a secret task along with girlfriend Lisa Appleton, Luke Marsden and Stephanie.
Jennifer Clark, a model from Chester-le-Street, said she had nominated Mario this week because of "the way he acts like my dad".

Kaiser Chiefs headline first UK festival at Isle Of White
Although the band have been responsible for many memorable festival moments over the last three summers, the band confirmed to NME.COM that this was the first time they had topped a mainstage bill on their own turf.
"It's great come on when it's dark," declared drummer Nick Hodgson who sported a new moustache for the occasion. "This is the first time we've headlined a UK festival so it's special."
"It's not the mainland though," joked guitarist Whitey, "we'll make it to the mainland one day."
The guitarist added that after stunning their hometown Leeds with their Elland Road show last month, the band had been enjoying their summer dates so far.
"Elland Road was our gig, we had as many fingers in as many Elland Road pies as we could," he explained. "We really enjoyed that gig, but the pressure is off tonight, it's fun."
The show itself saw the band mix a series of loud crowd favourites with several new songs.
Kicking off with 'Everything Is Average Nowadays', Kaiser Chiefs mixed their first two albums, triggering a giant sing-a-long for 'Ruby'.
However with the likes of 'Never Miss A Beat' and 'You Want History' they also gave the Isle Of Wight crowd a sneak preview of their next record, which has seen the band collaborate with Mark Ronson.
"We're working on our next record! We're writing the future hits of tomorrow," declared frontman Ricky Wilson as he introduced the first, electro-tinged newcomer. "This is one of them!"
For the second new track 'You Want History' the band roped in their tour manager Mike Darling - introducing him as "tour manager of the year!" - to play tambourine for them.
With former singles including 'Modern Way', 'I Predict A Riot' - which Wilson led the crowd from half way up the lighting rig - and 'The Angry Mob' continuing the sing-a-long, the band briefly left the stage before wrapping up the first night of Isle Of Wight 2008 with the loudest crowd vocals of the night for 'Oh My God'.
"This is a great festival," Wilson told the crowd. "I'll be sure to recommend it to all my friends!"
Kaiser Chiefs played:
'Everything Is Average Nowadays'
'Everyday I Love You Less And Less'
'Thank You Very Much'
'Born To Be A Dancer'
'Ruby'
'Never Miss A Beat'
'Saturday Night'
'Modern Way'
'You Want History'
'Na Na Na Na Naa'
'Retirement'
'I Predict A Riot'
'Take My Temperature'
'The Angry Mob'
'Heat Dies Down'
'Oh My God'

Snoop Dogg - Festival Postponed Over Snoop Dogg Gang Violence
A Californian music festival featuring SNOOP DOGG has been postponed over fears the rapper's performance will attract gang violence.
The star - real name Calvin Broadus Jr. - was scheduled to play at The 2nd Annual Monterey Music Summit on 30 May (08).
But the festival has been delayed because members of the The Monterey County Board of Supervisors have demanded heightened security, fearing the star's affiliation with the notorious Los Angeles Crips gang will cause violence at the event.
They have also called for metal detectors on the doors and that Broadus is searched upon arrival, reports AllHipHop.com.

WORLD ACCORDING TO GESSLE

As ane half of the duet Roxette, Per Gessle became ane of the most successful Swedish artists e'er, and probably the i earning the about money from his music. Gessle does have a sure gift for attention-getting meat hooks, but he too worked diligently to break away universal through his entire vocation. When the teenager idol stria Gyllene Tider failed to do so, merely being one of the best-selling bands in Sweden, he disbanded the group and tested a solo career, until at long last subsiding on the duette initialize together with Marie Fredriksson. His music has constantly been on the lightweight side and never selfsame imaginative (the lyrics even less so), merely Gessle has proved to be a very skilled songwriter.
Per Gessle was natural in the seaboard town of Halmstad in southwestern Sweden. Inspired by the new undulation movement, he had a abbreviated school term in the duette Grape Rock in the late '70s, before forming Gyllene Tider. Within a few eld, their hokum lyrics and super attention-getting meat hooks had Sweden beguiled, and they caused chaos on their summer tours. In 1983, spell to the highest degree of the stria members were doing their military service, Gessle released his self-titled solo debut, but it didn't come close to the winner of Gyllene Tider. In 1984, the band had reunited and tested for the North American market, touring under the nominate Roxette (a different Roxette than the duet Gessle later formed together with Marie Fredriksson), but passed relatively unnoticed. Discouraged by the failure, Gessle, wHO has incessantly been more inventive commercially than artistically, disbanded the band and released another solo album, Scener, patch forming the actual Roxette as a side project.
The early office of Roxette, Marie Fredriksson had a more than arty reputation than Gessle, and was ab initio well-advised not to go bad her solo career by singing lightweight bulge out music. The advice went unheard though, and in 1986 Roxette's debut album, Pearls of Passion, was released. In deuce age, they had become one of Sweden's to the highest degree popular groups, and in another year they reached routine one on the American charts for the number one time. During the number one half of the '90s, Roxette was staggeringly successful planetary, piece acquiring lilliputian toleration from the critics. In the late '90s, they disoriented a lot of their audience in Europe and North America, but unbroken up a firm next in Asia and South America.
In 1996, Gyllene Tider reunited for a summertime go, cathartic an EP with new written songs, as well as re-releasing a compiling. Both sold highly well on the Swedish securities industry. The next twelvemonth, Gessle released his third solo album, which was the first one in English, this metre backed by members of Gyllene Tider and Brainpool. The record album, called The World According to Per Gessle, didn't sell well even at home, simply proved that Gessle hadn't got all caught up in recipe at a time when Roxette had started to feel pretty outdated. The undermentioned two albums by the group did slight to change that impression.

Gallagher to sell Ibiza home because of Blunt?
Gallagher had originally bought his home from 'Tubular Bells' star Mike Oldfield in 1999, but is reportedly sick of hearing Blunt talk about the island in interviews.
According to The Sun: "Noel has been going to Ibiza every summer for years. But he wants to find a new holiday destination.
"He's fed up of hearing James Blunt bang on about Ibiza like he owns the place. It's taken the charm out of it for him so he's put his villa up for sale.
"It's very close to Blunt's place, and he says he can't stand the thought of Blunt writing crap tunes up the road."
Blunt bought a villa in Ibiza two years ago and has been a big fan of the party island. His recent single '1973' is said to have been inspired by local nightclub Pacha.
